People have crossed the threshholds of these heritage properties for up to three centuries- 19th, 20th and 21st.   Sadly the homes were demolished September 09, 2021 by Ontario Parks despite community efforts to seek repurposing.  Out of the rubble comes the opportunity to unite in the protection of our Cultural Heritage assets.
