Specimen 19 (CMCC BaGg-2:1); Found by James F. Pendergast 1951 at the Sand Banks, dates to between 1200 and 1300 AD. The Middle Iroquois Period in southern Ontario led to the later historic period from which the Huron, Petun and Neutral peoples emerged.

People have crossed the threshholds of these heritage properties for up to three centuries- 19th, 20th and 21st. Sadly the homes were demolished September 09, 2021 by Ontario Parks despite community efforts to seek repurposing. Out of the rubble comes the opportunity to unite in the protection of our Cultural Heritage assets.
